In the year 1936, in the Northern town of Ehden, a small pastry shop was opened by the Douaihy family. 43 years down the line, George Douaihy moved to Beirut to inaugurate the first of many pastry shops in the capital.
What began as a small patisserie in the North would soon grow into a well-known national brand that would cater to countless generations of Lebanese sweet-lovers; a brand spread today over 6 branches.
